J-Roll Doubtful Until The Weekend

Philly Blurbs - The lingering ankle sprain of shortstop Jimmy Rollins will keep him out of the Phillies' lineup until at least the weekend, according to Philly Blurbs.

It has been eight days since he suffered the sprain, and he revealed on Wednesday that he will not be in the lineup for the team when they open a series against the Mets on Friday night.

"With wrists and ankles, it's kind of tough to assess how long it's going to take guys to get back," Assistant General Manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said. "I think right now we made the right decision, and we hope to have him back this weekend." [READ]
