Reds Farm Report: Bruce Goes 3-For-3 With HR, 3B

Christopher Reina/RealGM - While Corey Patterson patrols center field for the Reds, Jay Bruce is continuing to prove he is ready for the big leagues.

On Wednesday, one of baseball's top two or three prospects went 3-for-3 with a homer and a triple.

He is now hitting .333/.345/.593 with three homers, but just one walk in 55 plate appearances.

Last season in 187 Triple-A at-bats, Bruce hit .305/.360/.567 coming off a .333/.405/.652 performance earlier in the year in Double-A.
