Rockies Outlast Padres In 22 Innings

The Denver Post - The Colorado Rockies outlasted the San Diego Padres 2-1 in 22 innings on Thursday night, according to the Denver Post.

The game lasted 6 hours and 16 minutes and 658 pitches.

"Baseball doesn't have a clock; that's what makes it beautiful," Manager Clint Hurdle said. "But I think this game is really going to help us. We have some guys who are really grinding and been taking this too seriously, and we ended up having some fun with this."
