Rookie Longoria, Rays Agree To $17.5M, Six-Year Deal

AP - Rookie Evan Longoria and the Rays agreed on Friday to a $17.5M, six-year contract, a deal that could be worth up to $44.5M over the next nine seasons, according to an Associated Press report.

Taken third overall in the 2006 draft, Longoria appeared in just six major league games before agreeing to the deal. [READ]
