Granderson Isn't In 'Baseball' Shape

The Detroit News - Tigers outfielder Curtis Granderson's broken hand is improving, but he isn't in 'baseball' shape, according to the Detroit News.

"No major setbacks," Granderson said after singling in five at-bats for Triple-A Toledo on Sunday. "The main thing right now is that my hand actually feels decent."

He admitted that he lacks leg strength though.

"That's the one thing I'm struggling with right now," Granderson said. "There's nothing you can do to simulate game situations. You've got to be out there." [READ]
