| 22nd April, 2008 - 6:49 pm | MLB.com - Nationals reliever Chad Cordero will have his shoulder examined on Wednesday afternoon, according to MLB.com.
On Monday he pitched a scoreless inning against the Braves, and appears close to getting his closer role back.
"I have to play catch with the outfielder a lot more, and in between innings, play with the heavy ball just to make sure that everything is all right," Cordero said.
His shoulder appeared to be bothering him whenever he threw the baseball last week. [READ] |
