| 23rd April, 2008 - 11:30 am | Christopher Reina/RealGM - Jordan Walden, one of the top pitching prospects in the Angels' organization, struck out nine batters in six innings in a Single-A start on Tuesday for Cedar Rapids.
Walden did, however, yield three earned runs. His season ERA is now at 1.90.
The Angels prospect was one of the most highly touted prospects coming out of high school but dropped to the 12th round of the 2006 draft. [READ] |
