The Los Angeles Times - Dodgers' hitting Coach Don Mattingly is reportedly trying to fix the swing of new outfielder Andruw Jones, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Jones hit his first home run with the team on Saturday but struck out four times in the team's following two games. He claimed the flu was the reason he was held out a game recently.

Manager Joe Torre said that Mattingly is working with Jones on his swing as he continues to aim for the fence in nearly every at bat.

"It gets you in some bad habits," Torre said of Jones, who is hitting .159 and has struck out 22 times in 63 at-bats. "He hit 20-something home runs last year, but who knows how many he would've hit with a different approach." [READ]
