Oswalt Would Only Consider Red Sox, Cardinals and Braves

Houston Chronicle - Roy Oswalt was asked about the trade rumors that have been circulating through East Coast media again on Thursday.

"I don't know where (the media) got that from, left field somewhere," he said.

Oswalt is adamant the Astros have never asked if he would consider waiving his no-trade clause.

"They haven't yet. No," he said.

Although Oswalt has not publicly said which teams he'd consider, people close to him say he wouldn't want to pitch in the New York market and that he'd only consider the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves. [READ]
