Christopher Reina/RealGM - Madison Bumgarner had his finest performance of 2008 on Thursday, striking out eight and walking no batters while giving up one run on two hits in a Single-A start at Hickory. The Giants' southpaw went 6.1 innings in the start.

Bumgarner has a 5.00 ERA in four starts, but he has struck out 20 while walking just three over 18.0 innings of work. [READ]
