Mariners Sign Johjima To 3-Year Extension

Herald Net - The Seattle Mariners have signed Kenji Johjima to a three-year contract extension, the team announced Friday afternoon.

Terms of the deal were not announced.

“As an organization, we view quality major league catching as a scarce commodity,” Mariners' General Manager Bill Bavasi said. “This extension allows us to feel very comfortable with our catching depth for the foreseeable future.” [READ]
