After Cubs' Loss, Pinella Loses It

The Chicago Sun-Times - After the Cubs lost to the Brewers on Wednesday afternoon, Manager Lou Pinella lost his cool in his postgame press conference, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

His appearance lasted no more than one minute.

Milwaukee beat Chicago 4-3 after Cubs' closer Kerry Wood gave up three runs to lose the game. There were some questionable plays in the outfield that weighed heavily on Pinella's mind after the loss.

"You have a two-run lead going into the ninth, you let one get away," Piniella said before his meltdown. "It's a tough loss."

"You're damn right I thought about it," Piniella said, his voice rising. "You think I'm stupid or something? God...darn it. Thought. All right. Thanks." [READ]
