Tigers Get First Sweep In Bronx Since '66

ESPN - The Detroit Tigers notched their first sweep of the New York Yankees in the Bronx since 1966 on Thursday night, according to the Associated Press.

The Tigers won 8-4 over the Yankees to cap the three-game sweep, as Miguel Cabrera homered and collected three RBI's in the victory.

"That's not going to happen very often," Tigers' Manager Jim Leyland said. "You feel very fortunate here if you win two out of three. You feel OK if you win one out of three." [READ]
