| 2nd May, 2008 - 4:43 pm | San Francisco Chronicle - Rich Harden, out since April 2 with a strain under his right arm, could return to start for Oakland next weekend, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
He pitched 3 2/3 innings during a rehabilitation start at Triple-A Sacramento, allowing three hits and a run while striking out four.
He threw 50 pitches.
"I was actually pretty happy with my command," Harden said by phone. "That's something I wanted to get out of it, and that's what I wanted to work on because it hadn't been that good in my simulated game. I felt like I was hitting my spots. For the most part, I threw a lot of strikes."
He is scheduled for another rehab start on Tuesday and if all goes well, he could start for the A's on May 11 against the Rangers. [READ] |
