Tigers Recall Willis From Rehab Assignment

ESPN - The Detroit Tigers recalled pitcher Dontrelle Willis from his minor league rehabilitation assignment on Sunday, meaning that he'll remain in the majors for the time being, according to the Associated Press.

He threw 72 pitches on Friday in 4 2/3 innings for the Toledo Mud Hens, allowing four hits and two runs.

Detroit revealed on Sunday that Willis slightly aggravated his knee while fielding a groundball. [READ]
