The New Journal - Phillies' shortstop Jimmy Rollins went 4-for-4 during a rehab assignment on Monday in Clearwater, Florida, according to The News Journal.

Last year's NL MVP claims that he could be back in the team's lineup by Sunday and reported no pain in his sprained left ankle after the game.

"It's great to see him out on the field, playing," assistant GM Ruben Amaro said. "That's progress. But, again, it's a day-to-day injury."

He is expected to take part in another extended spring training game on Tuesday. [READ]
