Torrealba Files Grievance Over Deal Collapse

ESPN - Catcher Yorvit Torrealba has filed a grievance against the New York Mets over a collapse of a three-year deal, $14.4 million deal last November, according to ESPN.com.

Torrealba had signed a term sheet on the deal, but the Mets backed out over concerns about the catcher's right shoulder.

The grievance will settle on the income Torrealba lost when the alleged deal fell through and he returned to the Rockies for less money, according to a report in the Denver Post. [READ]
