Marlins Sign Ramirez To 6-Year Deal

yahoo.com - The Marlins signed shortstop Hanley Ramirez to a six-year contract on Saturday, as reported by Yahoo.com.

Financial terms were not disclosed for the deal, which runs through the 2014 season.

But the Miami Herald reported seven days ago that Ramirez agreed to a $70M deal, the richest contract in franchise history. [READ]
