Lester Throws No-Hitter In Boston
19th May, 2008 - 10:03 pm
Andrew Perna/RealGM - Jon Lester threw the eighteenth no-hitter in Red Sox history on Monday night as he guided Boston to a 7-0 victory over the Kansas City Royals.

Lester allowed just two baserunners, while striking out nine batters.

Lester survived cancer to battle back and pitch in the team's World Series-clinching game last fall. [READ]
