A-Rod Returns; Jeter Leaves Early

The New York Times - The Yankees got Alex Rodriguez back in their loss to the Orioles on Tuesday night, but lost Derek Jeter after he was hit on the hand by a pitch, according to The New York Times.

Rodriguez homered in his return from the disabled list, but the Yankees lost 12-2 due in large part to an error by Jeter a few innings before he was forced to leave the game.

"Obviously, it doesn’t feel good," Jeter said of the hand, "but it should be all right by tomorrow."

Doctors determined that the hand is bruised. [READ]
