Shoulder Will Sideline Gagné Indefinitely
22nd May, 2008 - 9:49 am
The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel - Brewers' closer Eric Gagné has been shut down indefinitely with what he and the team called tightness in his right shoulder, according to The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

There is no word yet on how long he will be sidelined.

"It's all in the front of the shoulder," Gagné said. "Now we're just waiting to see. It's just one of those things (where) you usually warm up and it goes away, but it was getting tighter and tighter (Tuesday)."

"There's not structural damage. If it's in the front of the shoulder, that's always good. It's more muscular and inflammation," he added.

Manager Ned Yost said he will use a host of options to replace Gagné. [READ]
