Chipper Plans To Return This Week

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution - Braves' third baseman Chipper Jones plans to return to the lineup on Friday against Arizona, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Friday is the first day Jones is eligible to come off the disabled list, after being placed on the 15-day DL with a strained hamstring on July 23.

Jones is leading the Major Leagues with a .369 batting average this season, and the Braves are just 2-9 with him on the sideline.

"I feel great," said Jones. "Everything feels good. I'll be ready by Friday." [READ]
