Joba Hurts Shoulder In Loss To Rangers

AP - The Yankees lost Joba Chamberlain to a shoulder injury on Monday night as New York lost to the Rangers 9-5, as reported by the Associated Press.

Already missing Chien-Ming Wang and Phil Hughes from the rotation, the Yankees received more bad news when Chamberlain exited with a stiff right shoulder in the fifth inning.

He’ll return to New York on Tuesday for tests, and Manager Joe Girardi said the right-hander probably will miss a turn in the rotation. [READ]
