Webb Becomes First To Win 16 Games

MLB.com - Diamondbacks' starter Brandon Webb became the first pitcher in the Major Leagues to win sixteen games on Tuesday night in a victory over the Pirates, according to MLB.com.

Webb threw a complete game against Pittsburgh, earning the win in Arizona's 3-1 victory.

The Diamondbacks moved to 2 1/2 games ahead of the Dodgers, who lost in St. Louis in extra innings on Tuesday night.

Cleveland's Cliff Lee has fifteen wins this season, the closest to Webb's MLB-best mark of sixteen. [READ]
