ESPN - The agent for pitcher Freddy Garcia claims that his client will soon make his decision on where he will sign for the remainder of the season, according to ESPN.com.
"I'd hope we could do it sooner rather than later, because we don't want to lose any more time," Peter Greenberg said. "At the same time, we're not going to rush anything or take the first offer. We've taken this a step at a time all the way along, and that's what we're going to do now."
Garcia participated in a public workout on Tuesday in Miami with the Red Sox, Yankees, Rays, Tigers, Rangers, Mets, Phillies, Astros, Brewers, Cubs, Rockies and Dodgers having sent scouts to analyze the righthander. [READ] |
