Teams Interested In A's Street?

The San Francisco Chronicle - There have been rumblings that several teams have put in waiver claims on Oakland closer Huston Street, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.

Assistant GM David Forst would not discuss any specifics, but he hinted that if there is interest in Street, the A's would have to be overwhelmed by an offer to trade him.

"Particularly with any player who is under team control beyond this year, there's no reason to change our previous position just because the calendar has changed," Forst said. [READ]
