Webb Earns His 17th Win

The San Francisco Chronicle - Diamondbacks' hurler Brandon Webb earned his seventeenth win on Sunday against the Braves, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.

Webb threw six strong innings and hit a two-run double to lead Arizona to victory.

"I got a good piece of wood on that one," Webb said. "We had a couple of ducks on the pond, and that's when I step it up."

No one else in the National League has more than fourteen wins, making Webb the front-runner for this season's Cy Young. [READ]
