| 11th August, 2008 - 3:42 pm | FoxSports/ESPN - Arizona claimed Reds left fielder Adam Dunn — currently tied for the major-league lead in home runs — on waivers and a deal was consummated just before the 48-hour window expired Monday, according to major-league sources.
The Diamondbacks also had interest in Dunn before the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.
In exchange for Dunn, according to ESPN, Cincinnati will receive minor league pitcher Dallas Buck and two other players to be named later. [READ] |
