Jeter Leaves Yankees' Win On Cart

The New York Post - Derek Jeter left the Yankees' victory over the Twins on Tuesday night on a cart with an injured left ankle, according to The New York Post.

"He is OK," Manager Joe Girardi said of Jeter, who went 3-for-5 in a 12-inning win over the Twins. "He has a bruised instep. I think he will play [today]."

Jeter fouled a ball off his foot in the fourth inning and stayed in the game until the ninth but needed a cart to leave the ballpark. Afterwards, Jeter walked with a severe limp.

X-rays were negative on the foot. [READ]
