Angels' Scioscia Not Worried About Home-Field

MLB.com - Angels' Manager Mike Scioscia isn't going to alter his managerial plans in order to secure home field advantage in this fall's postseason, according to MLB.com.

"There is a home-field advantage in baseball," Scioscia said. "Your strategy is probably a little easier because of the way the game plays out when you're at home. You're also more familiar with the mound and the way the ball plays off the wall."

Heading into Saturday's action, the Angels had a 1 1/2 game lead over the Rays for the best record in the American League.

"A lot of it depends on your starting pitcher," Scioscia said. "The game is based by the guy on the mound." [READ]
