Isringhausen Likely Done For Season

AP - Cardinals' reliever Jason Isringhausen is likely out for the rest of the season with an elbow injury, according to an Associated Press report.

Isringhausen had an MRI in St. Louis on Tuesday. He left Busch Stadium after consulting with team medical personnel and before the Cardinals’ loss to the Pirates. He’ll be placed on the DL for the second time on Wednesday, and GM John Mozeliak doesn’t expect the right-hander back this year. [READ]
