Lee Wins 18th, Helps Cy Young Case

ESPN - Indians' starter Cliff Lee won his eighteenth game of the season on Thursday afternoon against the Royals, according to The Associated Press.

Lee, 18-2, gave up two runs in seven innings while striking out seven batters and walking a pair.

Mike Mussina and A.J. Burnett each have sixteen wins, the closest threat to Lee's AL-leading mark.

Lee's 2.43 ERA is the best in the league, with Justin Duchscherer of Oakland in second place (2.54). [READ]
