K-Rod Notches 50th Save Of Season

MLB.com - Francisco Rodriguez recorded his 50th save of the season on Sunday in the Angels' 5-3 win over the Twins, according to MLB.com.

Los Angeles rallied to score three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, and Rodriguez came in to retire Minnesota in the top of the ninth.

K-Rod allowed one hit while striking out two batters to notch his 50th save, just seven shy of the Major League-record. [READ]
