Pavano Placed On Waivers By New York

New York Post - After just one start the Yankees have reportedly placed starter Carl Pavano on waivers within the last 24 hours, according to New York Post.

He's available to be claimed and then traded if the Yankees find a proper match.

Pavano pitched against the Orioles on Saturday, his first start since having Tommy John surgery on his right elbow last April. [READ]
