Kent To Have Knee Surgery

ESPN - Dodgers second baseman Jeff Kent will have surgery on his left knee Tuesday to repair torn cartilage but his season is not necessarily over, according to Associated Press.

"We'll see what happens," manager Joe Torre said. "I know one thing: If there's a chance he'll come back, he's going to come back."

Kent, 40, is hitting .275 with 11 homers and 57 RBIs. [READ]
