Brewers' Sheets Leaves With Tightness In Groin
1st September, 2008 - 7:21 pm
MLB.com - Milwaukee starter Ben Sheets allowed just two hits in five innings against the Mets on Monday before leaving the game with tightness in his groin, according to MLB.com.

New York rallied late in the game, scoring four runs between the seventh and eighth innings, to come back and defeat the Brewers.

Eric Gagne took the loss, with Sheets in line for the victory.

Sheets claimed that he first felt the tightness while warming up for the third inning and it improved, but Manager Ned Yost decided to play it safe.

"It started to loosen up, but Ned thought that was enough," Sheets said. "I think it's gonna be fine. I really think I'll be OK. I'll just pay a little more attention to it, hopefully move forward." [READ]
