New York Post - Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran hurt his knee on Monday in a freak collison with home plate umpire Ed Rapuano, according to New York Post.

Beltran scored from first on a double by Ryan Church in the ninth inning, sliding into an out-of-place Rapuano in the process.

He has a bruised right knee, and is day-to-day. He will not have an MRI.

"Being honest, I'm not worried," Beltran said. "But it all depends on [today]. That's when we'll decide what we're going to do." [READ]
