Wagner Probably Out For Season

AP - Billy Wagner is expected to miss the rest of the season, leaving the Mets without their closer as they try to maintain a slim lead over the Phillies.

Wagner has been sidelined since Aug. 3 because of a tender pitching elbow. He has tried several times to work his way back but hasn’t been able to shake the pain. [READ]
