Phillies' Howard Hits 40th Home Run

Courier Post - Phillies' first baseman Ryan Howard hit his 40th home run of the season on Sunday against the Mets, becoming the first player in team history to reach the mark in three-straight years, according to Courier Post.

He hit 58 home runs in 2007, following that up with 47 in 2007.

Howard is hitting .237 with 40 home runs and 121 RBIs this season. [READ]
