MLB.com - Tigers' slugger Gary Sheffield hit the 250,000th home run in Major League history on Monday night, according to MLB.com.

Sheffield went deep off Oakland starter Gio Gonzalez in the second inning of Monday's 14-8 Tigers' victory to set the mark, his second homer of the game. [READ]
