| 13th September, 2008 - 8:34 pm | ESPN - Chad Qualls has replaced the struggling Brandon Lyon as the closer of the Diamondbacks, according to Associated Press.
Qualls has not allowed a run in seventeen of his last eighteen appearances and has a 1.02 ERA since the All-Star break.
"He's picked up a lot of confidence," Manager Bob Melvin said in announcing the change before the Diamondbacks played Cincinnati on Saturday. [READ] |
