Hughes Could Start For Yanks Wednesday

New York Post - Phil Hughes could start for the Yankees on Wednesday after they promoted him to the Majors on Saturday, according to New York Post.

Because of yesterday's double-header, the team needed a starter to pitch against the White Sox on Wednesday.

"Do we bring somebody back early, or what do we do?" Manager Joe Girardi said.

Hughes made six starts for the Yankees earlier this year, going 0-4 with a 9.00 ERA.

He landed on the disabled list on May 1 with a stress fracture in one of his ribs but pitched well in the Triple-A playoffs. [READ]
