14th September, 2008 - 10:06 pm
Andrew Perna/RealGM - The Phillies swept the Brewers in a day-night doubleheader on Sunday, and have moved into a tie with Milwaukee for the NL Wild Card.

The victory, coinciding with New York's loss to Atlanta, also leaves Philadelphia just one game behind in the NL East race.

Brett Myers pitched a complete game for the Phillies, allowing just one run on two hits against the Brewers.

Jeff Suppan lasted just 3 2/3 innings after allowing six runs. Prince Fielder hit a solo home run off Myers in the seventh inning to break up the shutout.

Jimmy Rollins went 2-for-2 on the night, driving in two runs with a single in the second inning. [READ]
