Maine Won't Close For Mets In 2009

New York Daily News - John Maine won't close for the Mets next season even with Billy Wagner lost for the year, according to New York Daily News.

"He's a starter," Omar Minaya said before Monday night's game. "We're planning on John Maine being a starter next year. We'll have to find another way."
