18th September, 2008 - 9:09 am
Brewers.com - The Brewers could be without pitcher Ben Sheets for the second-straight September after he left a start against the Cubs on Wednesday night with an elbow injury, according to Brewers.com.

He admitted after the game that he has been suffering from pain in his elbow since late August.

"We've been fighting it off for a while," Sheets said. "Today, I couldn't get the ball where I needed it."

Sheets is currently scheduled to make two more starts for the team in the regular season, with the playoffs still a very real possibilty.

"I'm bummed out," Sheets said. "I'm not feeling good, obviously."

"It's been so up and down that I would think it's very possible," Sheets added said of pitching again this season. "There's been really good days, there's been really bad days. There's been days that it's hard to move it because it's stiff, and then the next day it's great. We'll see." [READ]
