Reinsdorf: Sox-Cubs Series Would Be 'Fabulous'

Chicago Sun-Times - White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf believes that a World Series matchup between the Sox and Cubs would be 'fabulous', according to Chicago Sun-Times.

"If we were in the World Series together, it would be fabulous for the city," Reinsdorf said. "And I know a lot of White Sox fans say it would kill them if the Cubs got to the World Series, particularly if the Cubs beat us. But how good would it be for Chicago? It would be fabulous."'

"I really think we ought to put aside the old prejudices and just root for the Chicago teams. I know a lot of Cubs fans were very happy when we won the World Series because it was Chicago. If the Cubs win the World Series, it would be great for the city -- even greater if we win." [READ]
