President ofBbaseball Operations Andy MacPhail claims he will explore extension talks with the agents of both Roberts and Markakis in the coming weeks.
"It would be difficult for me envisioning an offseason where we don't explore and see what their appetite [for a contract extension] is given that he is coming into his final season next year," MacPhail said. "I would expect that we have a conversation. Where it's going to go? I don't know. But I would expect that we would have a conversation about it." [READ] |
