Red Sox To Change Rotation For Playoffs?
22nd September, 2008 - 5:19 pm
Boston Herald - The Red Sox could alter their pitching rotation in the postseason, with Josh Beckett and Jon Lester as their front end, according to Boston Herald.

"We have it set up how we have it set up for a reason," Sox Manager Terry Francona said. "We reserve the right to make changes if we want to, but I don’t think we anticipate doing that."

"There’s a reason why we did it like we did it, and I think we’re comfortable. We’re more apt to maybe short a guy than change dates. But, if we decided to make a change, we can do it - but I don’t think so."

Currently, Boston's top four starters are Lester, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Beckett, and Tim Wakefield. [READ]
