Sheffield Suspended Four Games

Detroit News - Tigers' hitter Gary Sheffield was suspended for four games for his role in the Friday night's brawl with the Indians, according to Detroit News.

"Any time you get into a confrontation or a fight on the field, you're going to get suspended," Sheffield said. "But when guys take cheap shots, I take that personally. When I find out who they are, they're going to have to deal with me."

Sheffield opted not to appeal and began serving the suspension Monday night against Kansas City. [READ]
