La Russa: Pujols Is MVP

St. Louis Post-Dispatch - Cardinals manager Tony La Russa believes that first baseman Albert Pujols is the only worthy candidate for the NL MVP award, according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

"I don't think anybody is close to him," La Russa said. "With all due respect to the other (players)."

He is hitting .348 with 34 home runs and 106 RBIs in just 142 games this season. [READ]
